Restaurant Review: Warehouse Bistro

blog 001Warehouse Bistro provides some of the best food in Falmouth. Nestled in the center of the town, the restaurant provides not just top quality food, but exquisite presentation, a friendly service and comfortable atmosphere to enjoy your meals.

Although the outside of the restaurant looks dull and unpleasant, once you step inside it’s a complete transformation; like going from Hackney London to Canary Warf. The inside is mainly pale brickwork and elegant oak wood, which creates a warm and cosy atmosphere. The walls are full of photographs and artistic paintings of Cornwall – reminding you that there is no better place to be (as Cornwall has the views in England.)

The restaurant has plenty to offer in terms of food, from a variety of fish dishes and steaks, to a fine Italian Lasagne. I personally went for the Fillet steak (accompanied by fries, vegetable and peppercorn sauce), which was incredible. Cooked to perfection – medium rare for me – the steak was tender, juicy and succulent, and as I’ve already mentioned, presented somewhat like a Michelin star restaurant. I definitely recommended this for anyone eating at the Warehouse Bistro.

The desert menu is also appealingly appetising, with an array of different flavours and textures throughout the menu. Whether you have a sweet tooth or not, there is a desert for everyone. I went for the Chocolate cheesecake, which was exceptionally light and moist – another dish I would recommend.

For students, the prices may seem high. However, if you are celebrating a special occasion, it’s worth it. The restaurants prices do seem to suit people with more money – but guaranteed you’ll be spending whatever you have the food is just that good!
